Evesham United Squad Updates

Evesham United Football Club wishes to provide a formal update regarding the composition of the first-team squad as we begin the 2025/26 season.

Manager Mike Ford has confirmed that no players have departed the club, except the early one of Michael O’Regan during the summer period. The full squad remains with us and is committed to the club’s objectives for the season ahead.

“I am pleased to report that we have retained every member of the squad over the summer,” said Mike. “This continuity is vital as we look to build on the foundations laid in pre-season and pursue a successful campaign.”

In addition to retaining the existing squad, the club is delighted to announce the following new additions:

  • Ryan Hayes – Signed from Stratford Town
  • Ethan Patterson – Also joins from Stratford Town
  • Jam Smith – Unattached, but brings valuable experience having previously played at Step 2 and Step 3
  • Cam Walters – Joins on loan from Cheltenham Town
  • Jenson Kilroy – On loan from Walsall

“These signings strengthen our options across the pitch.” “Each player brings quality and character, and I’m confident they will make a positive impact both on and off the field.”

For the opening fixture against Weymouth, an 18-man matchday squad was selected. As a result, several players were not included in the travelling party. Those not named remain important to the club’s plans. They have all been given a platform to be in the squad.

“Selection decisions are made based on tactical requirements, fitness, and form,” Mike continued. “All players are expected to compete for places, and those not involved in the opening fixture will have further opportunities to contribute as the season progresses.”

The club would like to thank its supporters for their continued loyalty and encouragement. Evesham United looks forward to welcoming fans throughout the season and appreciates the vital role they play in the team’s success.
