The draw for the extra preliminary round of the Emirates FA Cup has been made today.
Today’s draw has pitted us at home on Saturday 3rd August against Newcastle Town from Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire, who compete at tier four of the football pyramid in the Northern Premier League – West Division.
The winners receive £1125 and the losers £375.
The winners progress to play either Westfields or Daventry Town away on Saturday 17th August.
Meanwhile, although not played until the first Saturday in September (7th September), the draw has also been made for the First Round Qualifying of the Isuzu FA Trophy.
The draw has sent us on our travels – for this one we are away to the winner of Cribbs or Thatcham Town in the Preliminary Round which they play on Saturday 24th August.
The winners receive £1500 and the losers £400.
