Evesham United vs Plymouth Parkway
Saturday 29th August 2026 Southern League Premier South
The Robins are back at the Spiers & Hartwell Stadium on Saturday as Plymouth Parkway make the long trip from South Devon, with both sides looking to strengthen their position in the top half of the Southern League Premier South table.
Parkway have made an impressive start to the campaign and currently sit sixth in the table with seven points from their opening four games.
Their season began spectacularly as they produced a stunning 7-0 home victory over Bracknell Town, before following that up with a solid point away at Bath City. A narrow 3-2 defeat at Chippenham Town followed, but they bounced back last weekend, beating Havant & Waterlooville 2-1 at Bolitho Park.
Evesham currently occupy 11th position on six points following the defeat on the road at Hanworth Villa last Saturday and will be looking to reproduce the performance that saw them sweep Chichester City aside two weeks ago on home soil.
There was little to separate the sides when Parkway visited Evesham last season, with the corresponding fixture ending in a 1-1 draw. Amer Awadh put the Robins ahead before Rio Garside levelled for the visitors.
With both teams looking to climb the early-season table, Saturday promises to be another intriguing encounter.
