Evesham United welcome Hertfordshire side Berkhamsted to the Spiers & Hartwell Stadium on Saturday for an important Southern League Premier South clash.
The Comrades arrive in eighth place with 48 points from 32 matches and have their sights firmly set on the play-off places, sitting just three points shy of the top five.
The Robins, however, will be eager for revenge after October’s reverse fixture, when two late goals sealed a 3–1 victory for the hosts.
Evesham currently sit 13th in the table on 37 points and will be keen to return to action and continue their strong home form after last weekend’s postponement at Hanwell Town.
Like Evesham, Berkhamsted were promoted from Step 4 last season. The Comrades finished second in the Southern League Division One Central before sealing promotion in style, scoring 11 unanswered goals across their two play-off victories.
