Richard Joyce Joins the Evesham United Coaching Staff

There is a new addition to the home dugout this week, as Richard Joyce has become part of the Evesham United coaching team.
Richard began his career as an Analyst with Forest Green Rovers during the 2016-17 season. He later took on similar analysis roles at Brimscombe & Thrupp and Redditch United. Richard is no stranger to Evesham United, having previously worked with the club as an Analyst for part of the 2018-19 campaign.
Richard moved into full-time football at Cheltenham Town, serving as their Media & Communications Manager. He held this position until the end of the 2021-22 season.
In June 2022, Richard was appointed as joint first-team manager of Thornbury Town, a side competing in the Hellenic League Premier Division. Later that year, he became the sole manager after Andy Parry stepped down in October.
Richard joined Weston-Super-Mare in June 2023 as an Opposition Analyst. He has since stepped down from his managerial role at Thornbury Town to join the Robins coaching staff at Evesham United.
The club extends a warm welcome to ‘Joycie’.
