Pitching In Southern League Premier South
Evesham United welcome Weymouth to the Spiers & Hartwell Stadium on Saturday in the reverse fixture of the opening-day Southern League Premier South encounter. The Robins claimed all three points back in August, delivering an impressive performance in Dorset to secure a 3–1 victory.
Weymouth arrive in 18th place in the table, having collected 22 points from 25 matches. The Terras are under their third manager of the season following the early departure of Warren Feeney. The mercurial Steve Claridge took over the helm but was dismissed in December, having failed to improve their fortunes. Jamie Wells has since taken charge and has made a solid start, picking up four points from his first two games at the helm.
Evesham, meanwhile, have slipped to 14th despite earning a well-deserved point away at high-flying Gloucester City last Saturday. The Robins will be keen to build on that excellent performance as they look to return to winning ways on home soil.
