Saturday didn’t go to plan for the Robins who drew 2-2 against Bemerton Heath Harlequins who currently languish towards the foot of the table, although they certainly won’t be in that position come the end of the season.

Harlequins opened the scoring in the 13th minute with Ronan Clancy finding the net, Robins rallied around with a quick response in the 15th minute levelling it up by Reegan Messenger. The rest of the first-half chances were missed at both ends, with the Robins not playing to their capabilities the visitors stood their ground.

Quick as a flash after the restart Ethan Moran fired home in the 47th minute much to the delight of the home support and it was to stay that way until the visitors Karol Skoczen levelled it up in the 76th minute. Credit to the visitors who didn’t give up and for their efforts gained a valuable point early in the season.

Hopefully, the Robins can shake that off and refocus to be ready for the replay of their FA Trophy game against Thatcham Town this evening, KO 19:45, with updates on X (Formerly Twitter).
