Evesham United vs Frome Town

Evesham United kick off their home campaign in the Southern League Premier South on Tuesday evening when Frome Town from Somerset are the visitors to the Spiers & Hartwell Stadium.
Both clubs recorded opening-day victories on Saturday, with the Robins getting off to a fantastic start with a hugely impressive 4-2 win at Basingstoke. The travelling Evesham fans were treated to a dominant performance and a hat-trick from Kai Churchley in the Hampshire sunshine.
Our visitors also enjoyed a winning start, recording a strong 2-0 home victory over Wimborne Town, thanks to a brace from striker Archie Ferris.
Frome were promoted back to Step 3 last season after finishing top of the Southern League Division One South, amassing a notable 102 points in the process.
This home curtain-raiser will provide another early test for Mike Ford’s men, and with past fixtures between the two clubs always proving highly competitive, a large and vocal crowd is anticipated at the Spiers & Hartwell Stadium.
