Our first three pre-season friendly matches have taken place against Stratford Town with a 1-1 draw, and Cheltenham Town with a 0-3 defeat. Both matches took place at the Spiers & Hartwell Stadium, and on Tuesday evening a visit to Pershore Town saw the Robins fall to a 3 nil defeat for the second time this pre-season.
Sporting Club Inkberrow FC were promoted to step 5 football at the end of last season and will play in the Hellenic Premier Division this season.
Nicknamed The Eagles, depending on which road you take it’s either 14.5, 15.1 or 16.6 miles with an estimated journey time of just over 20 minutes to The Recreation Ground, Sands Road, Inkberrow WR7 4HJ
Once again it’s a chance for Robins fans to see the newly signed players for the 24/25 season, plus some of last year’s squad who are also due to line up with some trialists.
There are just two more matches for Evesham this pre-season following Saturday’s match against SC Inkberrow FC, the last home match is against Redditch United (home, Tuesday 23rd July, 19:30) and the final away fixture is against Swindon Supermarine (away, Saturday 27th July, 15:00).
