Our pre-season friendly matches have been tough with two 3-0 defeats against Cheltenham Town and Pershore Town. We have also had two 1-1 draws against Stratford Town and on Saturday against Sporting Club Inkberrow FC at The Recreation Ground.

Saturday saw the hosts take the lead in the match thanks to a nice cross which was headed in at close range by Will Skelton (30′), the Robins levelled the score after Dan Djurovic and a Trialist were replaced by Michael O’Regan and Harry White, the latter finding the net on the 55th minute.

With a mix of newly signed players, some of last year’s squad and some trialists for the 24/25 season the Robins go again on Tuesday night against Redditch United who play in the Southern League Central Premier Division (step 3).

There is just one more match for Evesham this pre-season after the last home friendly match against Redditch United (home, Tuesday 23rd July, 19:30), that final fixture is away against Swindon Supermarine (away, Saturday 27th July, 15:00).
