Pitching In Southern League Premier South
Evesham United are back on the road this Saturday, making the trip to the south coast of Hampshire to face 10th-placed Havant & Waterlooville at Westleigh Park as the Southern League Premier South campaign enters the pivotal final four weeks.
The hosts appear comfortably set for a mid-table finish, currently sitting on 48 points. However, their recent form has dipped, with the Hawks winless in their last four matches and managing just a single point in that run, which came against Hanwell.
Evesham, meanwhile, are now without a victory in six games and find themselves firmly in the thick of the relegation battle. The Robins are now just two points clear of the drop zone, although they do have a crucial game in hand away at bottom club Tiverton Town to come on Tuesday evening in Devon.
Havant & Waterlooville bring recent higher-level experience, having spent seven of the last nine seasons in the National League—including one campaign in the top tier—before their relegation back to the Southern League at the end of the 2023/24 season.
