Evesham United face a long trip to South Dorset on Saturday as they take on Dorchester Town at the Avenue Stadium in the Southern League Premier South.
The hosts sit just one place above the bottom of the table, with 26 points from 27 league matches, but will take confidence from last weekend’s impressive 1–0 win at Yate. Evesham, meanwhile, are 12th on 36 points and arrive in strong form, unbeaten in five matches in 2026.
Saturday marks Evesham’s first competitive league visit to Dorchester. The Robins have previously travelled to the Avenue Stadium twice: a 4–1 pre-season victory in August 2017, and more recently in April 2023, when the ground hosted the Division One South play-off semi-final against Hamworthy after their own stadium was ruled unfit. On that occasion, the hosts ran out 3–0 winners.
