Evesham United make the short trip across the county border on Saturday as they begin 2026 with a visit to Meadow Park, where they face Gloucester City in the Southern League Premier South.
The Tigers have enjoyed an excellent first half of the campaign and currently sit second in the table, having collected 46 points from their opening 22 league fixtures. Gloucester come into the match despite seeing a four-game unbeaten run ended in their most recent outing, a dramatic 2–1 defeat away at Taunton Town that also saw them reduced to eight men after receiving three red cards.
Evesham, meanwhile, have slipped into the bottom half of the table, occupying 12th place following two narrow 1–0 defeats since their last home victory against Taunton Town. The visitors will be looking to arrest that run and start the new year on a positive note against one of the league’s best sides.
