Evesham United make the trip back to Hampshire on Saturday for their final fixture before Christmas, as they visit Basingstoke Town at the Winklebury Sports Complex in the Southern League Premier South.
The ‘Stoke currently sit 15th in the table, having picked up 21 points from their opening 20 league matches, and come into the contest on the back of four consecutive league defeats.
Evesham, meanwhile, are 11th with 27 points and will be aiming to carry momentum from last Saturday’s emphatic home victory over Taunton Town.
This is the reverse fixture from when the teams met in our first home game of the campaign back in August, when a competitive 1-1 draw was played. Andre Wright struck a second-half equaliser to cancel out Robbie Gallacher`s early opener for the visitors.
