Two newly promoted teams will clash this weekend as Evesham United host Farnham Town from Surrey for the first time in the Southern League Premier South on Saturday.
Town currently sit one place above the Robins in ninth, having collected 20 points from their opening twelve games. They head into the fixture on the back of an impressive 4-1 win at Basingstoke last week.
Evesham, meanwhile, will be looking to rally after suffering back-to-back defeats for the first time in the division.
The 2023–24 season was a remarkable one for Farnham, as they set a record by winning their first 25 league matches. They went on to earn promotion to the South Central Division of the Isthmian League. Last season, they continued their rise by again winning their division, securing promotion to the Southern League Premier South.
