The first new signing for Evesham United for the new season is Ioan Richards, who is a right-footed 24-year-old footballer from Wales playing as a Central Defender. Born in Aberdare, Wales, on November 14th, 2000.
Ioan played for both Newport County and Cheltenham Town youth teams. He has played for Cheltenham Town (2018/19), loaned to Slimbridge for (2018/19) and (2019/20). He joined Redditch in July 2020. He joined Taunton Town in August 2021. He followed this with a move to Yate Town in August 2022.
Ioan secured a return to Redditch in March 2023 before returning to Gloucester in July 2023. A busy season for moves continued in September 2023 with a loan to Swindon Supermarine for a month where he impressed enough to earn a free transfer to Supermarine in December 2023. Last season Ioan had 34 starts and 3 goals for Supermarine playing in the Southern League Premier South.
