Today we have two members of the club staff moving on to pastures new, firstly Mike Byrne steps away from his coaching role while we also bid farewell to Dan Djurovic who moves to Greece to further his career shortly.

Mike Bryne has taken on the role of Forest Green under 18 manager, and due to the amount of time he needs to spend in his new role, he has reluctantly stepped away from his coaching role with Evesham United.

Mike Ford commented, “I’d like to thank Mike for his time with the club, he is an outstanding coach, loyal and a fantastic sounding board. I won’t be replacing him, attempting to do that is near impossible, I am though blessed with a brilliant coaching team. We wish Byrney all the very best”.

Dan Djurovic has left the club to pursue a full-time football career in Greece. He has been on trial for a couple of weeks and is moving there permanently shortly.

Mike Ford commented, “Dan is a top-class lad who is desperate to play at a higher level and has taken the opportunity to play abroad. He has been exceptional for Evesham United and deserves his chance. He has an unbelievably supportive family, and I wish them and him the very best”.

Mike Bryne added, “I would like to thank the Club, Ged the chair, and all the committee and volunteer staff for their support and hard work. Also, the fans who made me feel so welcome. Lastly the players and staff for their incredible professionalism in part-time roles. Thank you to the manager Mike Ford who has been a friend, colleague and mentor for me in my time with him. The club will do well I have no doubt. Thankyou Byrney”.
