Our second pre-season friendly resulted in a 3-0 defeat against Cheltenham Town in a competitive match at the Spiers & Hartwell Stadium on Friday evening, this resulted in another good run out in front of 670 supporters for Mike Ford’s team.

Town opened the scoring up with Arkell Jude-Boyd (53′) followed by Matty Taylor from the penalty spot (63′) after Jordan Thomas was tripped in the box, and the third by Aidan Keena (87′). Both sides had chances, Evesham had some clear chances early on, one of our trialists shot over the bar while Harry White’s free kick ended up in the side netting. The visitors made their strikes count during the second half where 7 subs came onto the pitch in one go transforming the visitors.

On Tuesday we travel the massive distance of 7.2 miles to take on Pershore Town, this is sure to make drivers tired midweek! See you there!
