Slimbridge AFC number one from the 2022-23 season, Lewis Adams left the club with 144 appearances after deciding to take some time away from football to pursue other things, including travelling.
Lewis made his senior debut for Slimbridge in October 2018 away at Paulton Rovers where he was voted supporters man-of-the-match after his team lost 2-1.
On signing for Evesham, Lewis commented: “Really excited to join this club. When Mike gave me a call and discussed what he wants to achieve this season it was a no-brainer. The facilities speak for themself, let’s have a successful season and give the fans what they deserve.”
Mike Ford said of his new signing: “Excellent news for the club. Lewis has good experience at this level having played a number of games. He’s a first-class human being, and will add maturity to the squad.”
